风筝早在汉代就已在中国出现，当时又称“纸鸢”。汉代曾用它来测量地面的距离；南朝有利用纸鸢传达消息的记载。杭州南宋时，弼教坊一带就有不少纸鸢作坊。杭州男女老少热衷于放风筝，由此风筝种类越制越多，越制越精。风筝制作技艺于2014年被列入杭州市非物质文化遗产项目。

程迪申，浙江杭州人。杭州市工艺美术大师、杭州市非物质文化遗产“风筝制作技艺”项目代表性传承人，民间工艺大师，杭州市工艺美术家协会会员，杭州市民间文艺家协会会员。擅长制作各类风筝、灯彩等工艺品。
